Register today for two webinars about the From Students to Stewards Initiative designed to enhance school performance, improve water literacy, and prepare Michigan's students for high quality STEM careers.

The initiative, sponsored by the Michigan Department of Environment, Great Lakes, and Energy (EGLE), Michigan Department of Education (MDE), and the MiSTEM Network at Grand Valley State University, includes information and real-world opportunities for students and educators to help integrate water literacy into school curricula and continuous improvement plans.

The MiSTEM Network has released a request for proposals to fund at least five project teams for a total of $50,000 as part of the From Students to Stewards Initiative. The winning applicants will test the effectiveness of a program toolkit, provide feedback on their experiences, and make recommendations to improve its usefulness.
