Team Melo - Black 16U features a combination of size, length and skill starting with 6'4 combo guard Danny Parsons (2023) from national powerhouse Baltimore Polytechnics Institute; who is an athletic 3-level scorer with a huge upside. Kamal Francis 6'2 (2023/Glenelg Country School) is a cerebral lead guard who has garnered some mid-major interest and makes his living as a distributor, catch and shoot guard who can hurt you in the mid-range. The team boasts an array of versatile/high-flying wings in Cam Horton 6'5 (Nationally ranked St. Frances Academy), Aaron "Uno" Finley 6'4 (Baltimore Polytechnics Institute) and 6'4 Jayden Baker who is sneaky athletic and a marksman from deep. Daniel Okonah 6'1 (St. Maria Goretti) offers backcourt depth and is expected to surprise with his IQ and all-around game. The front court offers an abundance of size and length starting with 6'8/260lbs Omarion Reid (Baltimore City College), Do-it-All forward 6'6 CJ Johnson (St. Paul's School), Mekhi Abdulaleem 6'7 (Loch Raven High School) a rebounding machine and defensive stalwart and Adam Fox 6'6 (Nationally Ranked Powerhouse Dematha Catholic) who is just as likely to put you on the block and finish as he is to step behind the arch and bury one from deep. If this wasn't enough fire power coming back from the protocol is the 6'5 ultra talented Kyree Smith (Baltimore City College) a lockdown defender and big time scorer and 6'9 Ian Robinson a versatile comb forward with huge upside. The twins Brian and Ryan Tita both 6'6 wings are still getting acclimated to the system and will look to make an impact as the season progresses.
