FRANKENMUTH, Mich. - Michimich -- Growing in popularity each time, guests looking to taste fine bourbons by Maker's Mark will get another chance this month as the Bavarian Inn Restaurant (http://www.bavarianinn.com/) hosts another unique Bourbon Dinner, this time on Friday, Sept. 25.
Better still, one of the featured bourbons that evening will be the unique private label bourbon: Bavarian Inn Private Selection by Maker's Mark. The bourbon, now available at the Restaurant and Bavarian Inn Lodge, is the latest product in a strong private label program that has been expanding at the Restaurant and Lodge over many decades. It features a unique taste crafted by the Bavarian Inn team working directly with Maker's Mark.
The Bourbon Dinner begins at 6:30 p.m. and includes a four-course menu by Silver Plate Award Winner Chef Phil Fahrenbruch, accompanied by a variety of Maker's Mark (https://www.makersmark.com/)® barrel-aged bourbons. The guest speaker for the evening will be Greta Harper, a Maker's Mark Diplomat.

The Bavarian Inn Restaurant's bourbon experience begins with a taste of Maker's Mulled Apple Cider, followed by an appetizer of Bourbon Glazed Chicken & Waffles and a Butternut Squash Bisque with an apple gastrique. This will be served with tasting of Maker's Mark and Maker's 46 bourbons.
A savory Kale Salad with Toasted Pecans, Bourbon Candied Bacon, and a Pecan Whiskey Vinaigrette is the next course. This will be accompanied by a Maker's Mark 46 Highball.
Following a sorbet du jour, the main course will be Peach Glazed Beef Brisket served with a New York Sour Cask Strength Bourbon.
To end the evening, a Banana Fosters Cheesecake will be served with the Bavarian Inn Private Selection bourbon produced exclusively for the Bavarian Inn.
