1st of 2 Ground-Up Construction Locations Opening in May in Metro Detroit Market
CHESTERFIELD TWP, Mich. - Michimich -- Store Space Self Storage announced today the opening of Store Space Chesterfield at 47435 Gratiot Road, the first of two Detroit-area locations launching this month. The new three-story facility brings 759 much-needed climate-controlled storage units to the northeastern suburb.
"Metro Detroit has been waiting for even more affordable, convenient self-storage options," said Rob Consalvo, co-founder of Store Space. "With this location, another opening soon in Taylor, plus our two existing facilities in the area, we're continuing our tradition of providing exceptional service and sophistication across the region."
During the Grand Opening, new guests get their first month's rent free and can move into any sized unit for just $29.99.
The three-story Chesterfield facility comprises 75,700 NRSF (net rentable square footage), a wide range of available sizes, and two covered loading bays. Multiple unit sizes are available for rent, including popular sizes like small 5x5 storage units, medium 10x10 units and large 10x20 units.

Store Space is also slated to open a new location in Taylor, MI, later this month at 24101 Ecorse Road. The Company also operates two other Metro locations in Dearborn at 6470 Wyoming Avenue and Pontiac at 3111 Centerpoint Parkway, as well as a location in Battle Creek at 110 Knapp Drive.
